Casey Winger is an experienced strategic marketing and communications executive who has spent the last 22 years building public relations, thought leadership, crisis communications and employee communications campaigns.

 

Prior to Sable, Casey served as the national director of marketing and communications for Encompass Health. In this role, she directed the marketing communications function through the execution of brand strategy, public relations and thought leadership, content strategy, and internal communications strategy. During her 16 year tenure at HealthSouth and Encompass Health, Casey focused on delivering research-based solutions to ensure the continued delivery of measurable brand and marketing results. Casey also provided oversight and management of the Company’s 2018 rebrand to Encompass Health, which represented a $29M investment to bring the Company’s two business segments under one, unified brand.

 

Casey began her career as a news director for CNN affiliate WJXS-TV24, before working on Capitol Hill for Congressman Robin Hayes in Washington, DC.Casey has served as president of the Public Relations Council of Alabama’s Birmingham chapter, as a Board Member for United Cerebral Palsy of Birmingham, and on the Children’s Hospital Committee for the Future.

 

She is a graduate of Momentum’s Women’s Executive Leadership Program, as well as a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
